Important information for Eventers

Dear Eventers,

The following information is of urgent importance particularly to those planning on entering Sydney and/or Melbourne in the upcoming weeks.

In reference to the Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MER) rule change which took effect January 2017, MER are now being correctly calculated by EA’s database.

May I remind you that following the 2017 rule change, the MER now requires not more than 67 (or 55%) penalties in Dressage; not more than 75 seconds (or 30 time faults) XC;  and there is no change to Show Jumping which remains at 16 penalties (note time faults are not included). For further information, refer Eventing National Sport Rules, reference Chapter 5 -  Article 517 Minimum Eligibility Requirement :

The link to view results is located at:  http://www.equestrian.org.au/members/search/eventing-results .

Please discard listings (75 penalties in Dressage, 90 secs time on XC and 16 penalties in Show Jumping) that you may have viewed between January and midday 27th April 2017 as they are no longer valid.
